Programs & Education is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
Topic: Macro Photography
Time: April 13, 2021 07:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
Come and hear Steve Kessler’s presentation about macro photography.
Steven is a retired Nassau BOCES school principal who worked in Special Education and Vocational Rehabilitation for over 40 years.
He has been an avid photographer since he bought his first Canon FTBN SLR in 1976 and built his own darkroom. He took a long break from his photographic pursuits when he married and raised a family and became more seriously involved.
Steven’s main interests are macro, nature and creative photography – in fact almost everything but people photography. He prefers to use natural lighting and hardly ever uses a flash. Steven tends to see the world in small pieces and patterns and uses Luminar and a little bit of Lightroom in his processing.
Steven enjoys teaching and is an adult education instructor through Farmingdale High school where he teaches a basic digital photography class. He also gives workshops in Macro Photography and Photo Composition to local camera clubs.
Currently, Steven is a member of the Nassau County Camera Club in Levittown – where he is the membership chairperson – and he also is a member of the IPG Photo Club in Farmingdale.
